Elbphilharmonie Hamburg - wall cladding

Peuckert GmbH

Peuckert GmbH, Mehring, has been the professional partner for all aspects of interior construction since 1971. Over the decades, the company has become a highly qualified company for the interior construction of new buildings and renovations. As a second area of activity, Peuckert GmbH develops and manufactures the peCool® chilled ceiling systems for metal and plasterboard ceilings. Innovative special solutions have been realised for a number of projects with the company’s own patents and utility models. The projects predominantly include special constructions such as cinemas, concert halls, film and television studios, as well as office buildings, hotels, sports stadiums, airports and stations. Thus, for example, the BMW Museum in Munich, Terminal 2 of Munich Airport, the Roche Tower in Basel and the SAP office building in Hamburg have been realised, in collaboration with well-known architects. The Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg was probably one of the most significant challenges, as Peuckert was responsible for the very complex assembly and production planning in 3D, the measuring and construction of the form-giving steel structure – the support structure for the white skin, and finally for the installation of the white skin, the moulded wooden handrail and the catwalks – hanging steelwork walkways for scenography staging.
