Loftcube Project -
Design as a Cube
With the mobile Loftcube, the internationally renowned designer Werner Aisslinger developed a mobile housing unit for the »empty piece of land« with a flat roof. The housing unit has 36 m² that can be individually used as a living or office container and, can be equipped completely according to the requirement of the resident. All four outside walls can be designed individually, partially transparent, translucent or closed. Even the partitioning of the interior from fixed or mobile panels can be determined by the customer.

The prototype of the mobile home for modern nomads had been presented 2003 on the roof of the universal building in Berlin, Germany. Many years later, Aisslinger could present the Cube as a living container ready for serial production. The industrial manufacturer Hasenkopf processes Corian® in the colours Glacier White for the working surfaces of the integrated Bulthaup kitchen and the bar counter and contributed to the great success of this creative project.
